We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer Intern to support the software testing and quality assurance activities of our products and applications. The intern will work closely with the QA and development teams to ensure software quality by executing test cases, identifying defects, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Assist in planning, preparing, and executing test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform manual testing of web, mobile, and/or desktop applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using defect management tools.
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
• Support the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and test reports.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements and expected outcomes.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a quality perspective.
• Assist in test data preparation and test environment setup activities.
• Support automation testing initiatives where applicable.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, processes, and best practices.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Knowledge of software testing concepts, methodologies, and defect life cycle.
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL is a plus.
• Exposure to automation testing tools and programming languages is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts, version control systems (Git), and Agile software delivery practices.
• Exposure to AI-assisted software development and testing tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude, Testim, Mabl) and an interest in leveraging AI to improve test design, test execution, and quality assurance processes.

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Selenium, Postman, or similar testing tools.
• Basic programming knowledge in Java, Python, JavaScript, or other languages.
